Art in the Park Day

Enjoy Fine Craft Demonstrations. Visitors will be treated to artist demonstrations of the various crafts that are taught here at Peters Valley such as: Blacksmithing, Ceramics, Fibers, Fine Metals, Printmaking, Weaving and Woodworking.

Visit the Blacksmithing & Ceramic Studios to enjoy demonstrations and hands-on activities led by our studio staff. Come see Peters Valley’s historic Anagama kiln, the first kiln of its type built in America for public use.

Try it, you’ll love it! Hands-on art activities for everyone! Hands-on activities will be available to give visitors a feel for the different crafts taught in our workshops. There will be hands-on activities for both adults and children!

Visit the Peters Valley Exhibition & Retail Galleries featuring fine craft for sale by over 200 artisans. View the Making Matters exhibition of work by this summer’s visiting workshop instructors and staff. There will also be an outdoor pop-up gallery featuring some of our local artists.
