Big Apple Comedy Club #54

Fan-favorite comedy show, The Big Apple Comedy Club, is returning to The Newton Theatre to bring a laugh-packed night with four hilarious comedians coming to our stage for one epic evening!

Rich Aronovitch is best known for his appearances on “Gotham Comedy Live” on AXS, The Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay”, HBO’s Bomani Jones, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and the WE Network “Three Men and a Chick Flick”. Aronovitch is a regular at New York City’s best clubs including The Comedy Cellar and Gotham Comedy Club.

Robin Fox spent 17 years as a New Jersey stay-at-home mom. This “Real Housewife” is the funniest lady at the PTO and bus stop, but one day decided to move her act to the comedy stage and has audiences roaring ever since. She can be seen regularly at Gotham Comedy Club and Broadway Comedy Club. Fox is the Grand Prize Winner at the 11^th Annual Gilda’s Club Laugh-off, host of the Lucie Awards at Lincoln Center and was a finalist at several prestigious comedy contests and festivals including the Bud Light “Ladies of Laughter”.

Joe Larson was nominated “Best Up-And-Coming Comedian” at the NYC MAC Awards and was a finalist in both the prestigious Johnny Carson Great American Comedy Festival and the Boston Comedy Festival. His popular blog, “Man with a Baby” is read and enjoyed by man, and online comedy pieces with “Grandma’s Favorite” are a YouTube favorite.

Ruperto Vanderpool has appeared on “Martin Lawrence Presents The First Amendment Stand Up” on STARZ Network, BET’s “Comic View”, “It’s Show Time at The Apollo”, “Comic’s Unleashed with Byron Allen”, SiTV’s “Latino 101” and was personally selected by P. Diddy to be the only Hispanic to perform for HBO “Bad Boys of Comedy” Season Two.
