If you’ve never been to historic Lusscroft in Wantage, this is your chance! On Saturday, July 29th, from 10am to 3pm at 50 Neilson Rd, Wantage, visitors are invited to explore, shop, eat and enjoy the beautiful scenery at the farm.
The huge Barn and the Bunkhouse building are filled with furniture, decorative items, sporting goods, books, tools, toys, glassware, vintage and collectable items and more – all for sale. The 19th century Cottage has all 3 levels filled with holiday items for sale plus a bake sale, and the Carriage House and lawn will have interesting craft vendors and tempting food trucks. The Turner Mansion will be open for guided tours for a donation of $5 per person – proceeds go to restoration projects. Members of the Sussex County Native Plant Society will also be on hand to discuss the Native Plant Garden Project at Lusscroft.
There is no general admission fee or parking fee – the only fee is the guided tour of the Manor House.
Funds raised from the Barn Sale, Cottage Sales, and Manor House tours go to restoration projects at historic Lusscroft, part of High Point State Park.
