In honor of EMS week, we are going to be hosting a community CPR course!
This course is more of an introductory course for anyone in the general public to learn the basics in CPR.
According to the American Heart Association, they describe the course as:
“This dynamic course teaches lay-rescuer skills in CPR; AED use; and relief of choking in adults, children, and infants. The course uses the research-proven practice-while-watching format, and can be taught by American Heart Association Instructors or led by facilitators such as community members, family members, or friends. This course is for people who do not need a course completion card for a job or other requirements, and is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, school groups and students, and others interested in learning how to save a life.”
