Equestrian Events Champion Charities at Grayfields Polo Club
ALLAMUCHY — For a one-of-a-kind way to spend a Saturday afternoon, Grayfields Polo Club, located off Route 80 Exit 19 at 134 Long Bridge Road, is becoming one of New Jersey’s best summer destinations. Throughout the summer, the polo club will be hosting exciting matches, plus events that give back to charities.
Founded in 2022 and proudly sanctioned by the United States Polo Association (USPA), Grayfields is home to NJ Polo™, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting charities through world-class polo events.
The 2025 season will be the club’s biggest yet, with eight USPA tournaments and three headline charity matches. The 2025 charity match schedule includes the Semper Fi & America’s Fund Invitational on June 21 (rain date June 22), Catholic Academy of Sussex County Polo Classic on August 23 (rain date August 24) and Project Self-Sufficiency Fall Classic on Sept. 13 (rain date Sept. 14). For tickets, visit www.njpolo.org/pages/tickets.
These special charity matches will also feature food trucks, the Pony Bar (a cash bar), best hat contests, silent auctions to further support the featured charities, halftime divot stomp traditions, and post-game after parties with live music.
For each match, gates open at 9:00 a.m. for tailgate ticket holders to setup. All vehicles must be moved to the lot by 12:00 p.m. General admission, VIP, and tailgate guests enter starting at 12:00 p.m.
Attendees should dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Wedges, flats, and sandals are ideal— charity matches tend to be a bit dressier (think garden party). Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome to the matches and attendees should bring water and shade for their pups.
In addition to the matches and charity events, Grayfields Polo Club makes it easy to learn to play polo at the polo club in Allamuchy. With professional instructors and safe, trained horses, all levels are welcome — even those who have never ridden before. Horses, gear and guidance are all included. It is never too late to pick up the mallet. Visit www.njpolo.org for more information.
