An incredible afternoon of Marching Musical Arts is coming to Sparta High School to enjoy with family and friends!

The “Spartan Showcase 2023” is their 3rd Annual Marching Band Home Competition in coordination with TOB (Tournament of Bands Association) featuring some of the area’s hottest Marching Bands! 16 Bands this year!

Scott Tomlin, director of Marching Spartans, said, “We are very excited to bring the third annual Spartan Showcase marching band competition to the community.  To produce an event this size and scope requires a total team effort, and we have a great team working tirelessly to make our second year even better than the past events!  Our goal is to give high school visiting students, teachers and families from across the state, a taste of what makes Sparta a special place”.

The event will be on Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at Sparta High School and doors will open at 3:30pm!

The schedule is as follows: 

Start Time: 4:00 pm, Marching Bands: 1-A

7:00 pm, Marching Bands: 3-A

8:00 pm, Marching Bands: 2-A

8:45 pm, Marching Band: 2-O, Sparta High School closing the event! 

Spartan’s events traditionally feature warm hospitality and  a variety of vendors. Concessions and Grab & Go stations will be available, with delicious food and snacks for all! 

The Merch tables are better than ever this year!, with many sponsors, apparel and souvenirs that make this afternoon memorable. You will find our select group of sponsors in our program and on the football field electronic screen.

The invitation is extended to all members of the community of Sparta and its surroundings to have fun with the talent of 16 bands, who have prepared phenomenal performances in the best spirit of the teams that love music and the Marching Arts traditions. 

Tickets will be available at the football field entrance as follows:

Adults: $10, Seniors, Students, and Veterans: $7, Under K free.  They will accept cash and Venmo for payments only.
