The Weekend Bag Program Inc 1st Annual Stuff The Van with Partners in Caring

The Weekend Bag Program Inc. will be having its 1st Annual Stuff the Van event sponsored by Newton ShopRite’s Partners in Caring program, on Saturday, September 30th, 2023, from 12 pm until 4 pm.  A huge thank you to Teyma General Contractor LLC and Planet Networks for providing us with the vans!

The Weekend Bag Program Inc. is run by two Sussex County teenage sisters, Olivia a senior at Newton High School, and Magdalen a freshman at Pope John XXIII Regional High School.  The program is going into its 8th year and is now in 19 schools throughout Sussex County, from pre-school to college, this year we have over 200 students receiving a Weekend Bag each week and anticipate this number to grow. The program is run anonymously and runs solely on donations by the community and events like this one. Please, if you can come donate a few items from our list below, it would really help us with our mission to end juvenile food and hygiene insecurity in Sussex County.
