The Viking Snowshoe Invasion is back! Join the Vernon Township Board of Recreation at Mountain Creek on January 27, 2024 to take on the mountain (Bad Weather Alternate Date January 28, 2024)!
Choose your challenge – a 5k tromp across the ridge of the Mountain or for a little less of an excursion you can take the final mile option – either will spark the best of your winter skills!
Runners, walkers or those trying out snowshoes for the first time – ALL ARE WELCOME!
Ride the cab up to the top of the mountain and then get your snowshoes on!
Spectators can gather by the outdoor fireplaces and cheer their viking on as they make their way down the mountain!Registration and check in at 7:30am in the Biergarten at Mountain Creek’s Red Tail Lodge. The lift will take people up the mountain starting at 8:00am. The race begins at 9:00am.
