Get ready to be inspired! Join us for a unique showcase where Sussex County’s youth share their lifestyle choices through art, essays, drawings/sketches, and more. Witness firsthand the impact of positive life choices and how saying no to alcohol, marijuana, vaping, and other drugs shapes their lives for the better!

Stay for a bit, or linger longer. Browse the showcase at your leisure anytime between 5:00 and 8:00 pm. Whether you’re a parent, friend, educator, or community member, this event is a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of our youth. Let’s show them our support and encouragement by showing up on April 10!

WHAT TO EXPECT

YOUTH SHOWCASE DISPLAY: Explore the thoughts and creativity of local youth as they express through art, drawings, and writing how hobbies, activities, friends, and family play a crucial role in staying above the influence. Witness our youth’s powerful messages about the joys and benefits of a substance-free life.

The showcase is neither an art show nor a contest judged on skill. Instead, it’s a meaningful display of thoughtful expression to share insights on making choices that lead to healthy lifestyles. As you view the showcase, we encourage you to appreciate the thought and messaging behind the display.

This display includes student entries from our What’s Your Anti-Drug, What Makes You Happy, and Achieving My Dreams Alcohol-Free contests.

Interactive Fun: Engage with interactive displays hosted by our youth action groups and agency staff. There’s something for everyone!

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Attending this showcase is a powerful way for the community to directly engage with and understand Sussex County youth’s perspectives, hopes, and dreams. By viewing their creative messaging and reading their essays, we celebrate their creativity and resilience and underscore adults’ vital role in encouraging our youth to make positive, healthy choices.
