Holiday Event at
Lusscroft Farm

On Saturday, November 30th, from 10am to 4pm, get in the holiday spirit by visiting the Lusscroft Farm Benefit Holiday Event at 50 Neilson Road, Wantage, NJ.  Three historic buildings will be open: the Manor House, the Carriage House, and the Holiday Cottage!

Tour the festively decorated Manor House, learn the history of Lusscroft and the restoration progress that has been made, and relax in front of the massive fireplace to enjoy the live music by the Skylands Dulcimer String Band.  Ascend the magnificent spiral staircase to see the model train display and the history displays showing both the Lusscroft agricultural research history as well as memories from when it was the 4-H Camp.  Peek inside the bedrooms and see the progress that has been made in restoration and furnishings.

All year, volunteers have been busy filling all three floors of the 19th century Manager’s Dwelling with donated holiday items to create the charming Holiday Cottage. New and gently used holiday related items and gifts are available to purchase, as well as tempting homemade items in the bake sale.

Get started on your holiday gift list by shopping in the Carriage House, filled with unique local vendors and talented crafters. Your holiday gifts from them will be one of a kind!

Stay for lunch, enjoying one of the scrumptious lunch items from the Chefdnj Food Truck. Something yummy for everyone!

There is a $5 Admission per adult (kids under 18 free) to the Manor House only. Free parking. Funds raised go to ongoing restoration efforts at this historic farm. This event is presented by the all-volunteer, nonprofit, Heritage and Agriculture Association, Inc., in cooperation with the NJ DEP/Division of Parks and Forestry.  Lusscroft.org
