The Wallkill Valley girls basketball team defeated Hopatcong at WV yesterday 50-28 to improve their season record to 6-4. Jackie Schels had 20 points and 12 rebounds, Trinity Hartung had 15 points, and Erin Anderson had 8 blocks. Also, Wallkill Valley beat Vernon in a very close game 58-55 in the Finals of the Ranger Holiday Tournament to win it. Jackie Schels was named Tournament MVP.
